A reason for “OFF-SCENE”s popularity may be the memorable model with a notable mustache that walked backwards to experimental jazz music while wearing garments. Another reason may be the fact that some of the garments in this collection outlived the season and continue to be highly coveted and worn with ensembles outside of the “OFF-SCENE” realm. These include jackets with extended “PARACHUTE” lining, and the first iterations of the “VEST-BAG”.

For me, the breathable S/S take on winter garments was a favorite aspect. This knit top is not thick like the “PENTASIR” high-neck sweaters from “IN-BETWEEN”. It is also not a cut and sew jersey top. It is a knit high-neck top, with finished curling hems and skinny/elongated dimensions. Crafted with a beautiful “CALATA” seamless method which is visible on the sleeves and the hem, which omit  the usual sewing seams.

The cotton fabric is thin and very breathable, despite the awkward anti-fit shape of the masterpiece.
